History of the Foundation
The Phi Kappa Theta National Foundation is a separate corporation of the National Fraternity. It was founded in 1954, through the generosity of Brother Paul Galvin (Illinois ’14), president and founder of the Motorola Corporation, for the explicit purpose of promoting scholastic excellence in the chapters and colonies and among their collegiate members. The Foundation is a non-profit, educational and charitable organization meeting all IRS codes and maintaining a 501(c)(3) IRS status. All contributions are tax deductible.
Programs and Scholarships

Phi Kappa Theta recognizes the need for further development of the collegiate member beyond the classroom. The Foundation funds Fraternity programs that provide unique leadership and educational opportunities as well as offer several scholarships.
